Merlot is a 5 year old Miniature Australian Shepherd and is the resident therapy dog at White Mountain Expressive Arts. She is the most loyal, loving, and attentive dog you’ll ever meet. As a puppy, it was clear she was a special dog. She has always been very calm and had a drive to comfort any humans she came into contact with. In June 2021, she was tested and officially became a therapy dog with the Alliance of Therapy Dogs. She loves being able to come to work every day and help people. She is present in most remote counseling sessions with Joy, and is preparing to be a co-presenter in mental health presentations across the country.
